How often have you caught yourself dreading a cardio workout? For us, we were often told that unless we’re pushing to the edge, we’re not “doing enough.” Pushing to the edge was not nourishing for us – instead it created expectations that we didn’t want to test. So we avoided. Until we learned there was a different way.
In our four-week cardio program, we move through dynamic, low-impact workouts where we encourage compassionate and trusting dialogue with your body. This course is less about chasing after unreachable fitness ideals and harsh “shoulds”, and more about embracing low-impact cardio (yay! no jumps!) that is kind to your joints and loving to your body — one that respects your body’s unique pace. With four balanced classes each week, instead of promoting exhaustion, we’ll explore joyful movement that energizes you so you can go live your best life.
Through this course, you’ll realize that there’s no morality tied to movement — that joy, can coexist with exercise. It’s about making space for yourself, having fun moving with the beat of music, and creating a safe space where you can tune into your body’s needs and cultivate a sustainable relationship with movement.
